Jill Bice, a local Sensory Safe hair stylist, will talk about ways she makes the hair cutting experience safe and perhaps easier for kids and adults. If getting a hair cut is a struggle for you or your child, you will not want to miss hearing from Jill!
We meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 6-730p, in the Journey Building at Lima Community Church. Parents, Autistic Adults, and other adult family members are welcome to join us. You do not need to be from Allen Co. Here at Autism Life Center we strongly believe everyone needs support no matter where you live.

Welcome back to our 1st Support Meeting for 2021! This month's meeting will be via ZOOM and is all about Sensory Diets. What is a Sensory Diet? How do you set one up? Is it expensive? Can I do it at home? How do I know what to do?
Laura Mitchell, Pediatric Occupational Therapist will join us to answer all these questions and many more! She'll walk us through ways to meet a persons sensory needs and explain why it's important. She has lots of ideas to share!
