September Autism Support Meeting + Sensory & Discovery Lending Library.
Our Autism Support Meetings are starting back up, and September’s meeting will be a special one!

YWCA Childcare Resource & Referral Building
Please note: This is a ONE-TIME location change. We will NOT be meeting at Lima Community Church this month.
For adults ages 18+
Autism Life Center and the YWCA have partnered to create the new Sensory & Discovery Lending Library, and families and professionals are invited to come see it, explore the items, and learn how it works.
During the evening, you’ll be able to:
-Connect with other parents, caregivers, autistic adults, family members, and professionals
-Explore the new lending library
-See and learn about different sensory and adaptive supports
-You can check items out, starting Sept. 25 for up to 30 days
The library includes items such as:
-Swings
-Crash pads
-Weighted items
-Wiggly seats
-Sensory bins
-Tents
-Timers
-Noise-canceling headphones
…and more!
This is a great chance to try different supports without having to purchase them first and to connect with others who understand.
Parents, caregivers, autistic adults, family members, educators, therapists, and other professionals ages 18+ are welcome.
We hope you’ll join us for a relaxed evening of connection, conversation, and exploring something new for our community!
